Asbestos
Asbestos is a natural occurring fibrous mineral that can be very dangerous if inhaled. Asbestos minerals are made up of fine durable fibers allowing it to be resistant to heat, fire, chemicals, electrical and absorbing of sound. There a 6 types of asbestos minerals consisting of; chrysotile, crocidolite, amosite, anthophyllite, tremolite, and actinolite. The most common of the 6 found in building materials is chrysotile.
In the 1900’s asbestos was extensively used in building materials. These building materials consist of; vinyl floor tiles and mastic, acoustic ceiling tiles, drywall joint compound, plaster, sprayed fire proofing, thermal pipe insulation, caulking, vermiculite and more. The disturbance of these materials can be fatal to the human body if inhaled. Studies prove that inhalation of asbestos can lead to asbestosis, pleural disease and lung cancer (mesothelioma).
Our trained team of certified abatement technicians are qualified to remove asbestos in a safely manner, in order to eliminate any hazardous risks and comply with Ontario regulation 278/05.

Mould Remediation
Mould refers to fungi that develops in form of multi-cellular structures called Hyphae. The most common cause of mould occurring on building materials is water moisture and humidity. There are many types of mould that can occur and can be hazardous to humans if inhaled, digested or even in contact with skin.
In the workplace, mould can develop on all types of building materials and must be remediated in a safely manner. Our team follows the Canadian Construction Association for Mould Guidelines and EACO in our remediation process to ensure all work procedures are safe.

Lead Remediation
Lead is a chemical element that was commonly used in different types of paints until it became restricted due to the concentrations and toxicity of lead. Our trained lead removal team follows the Ministry of Labor guidelines for Lead Removal in order to ensure a safe remediation process.
